That's IT

The content-centric programme planning of m.a.x. it

Content is king! For every broadcaster, content is the most valuable asset. With its range of functions, the m.a.x. it programme planning system enables strategic and operational programme planning – and does so in a content-centric way: Linear and non-linear broadcast content can be ideally planned with this system, as programme planning places content at the centre of all planning processes. All metadata is captured centrally and only once in the content pool, but can be used synergistically for the various distribution channels. With content managed in this way, cross-media programme planning can be organised systematically and according to requirements – without media discontinuities and compatible with the other m.a.x. it broadcasting modules.

Frequently asked:
Programme planning and broadcast scheduling

I would like to introduce a programme planning system – which modules do I need for this?

We will be happy to advise you and, based on your requirements, put together the necessary modules for an optimal planning process.

I would like to use my planning system to plan not only television, but also online platforms with my content – is that even possible in one system?

Yes, in the m.a.x. it planning system, linear and non-linear planning are fully integrated; for example, the dwell time for online use is automatically updated when changes are made to the linear schedule.

With our media experience, we will be happy to advise you, analyse and assess the use of a content pool in which all metadata is captured centrally once and can then be used and published multiple times as required.

We have metadata that is manually captured multiple times in-house – can this be improved?

With our media experience, we will be happy to advise you, analyse and assess the use of a content pool in which all metadata is captured centrally once and can then be published multiple times as required.

I would like to connect my programme planning system with other backend systems – what needs to be done?

With our media experience, we will be happy to advise you, analyse and design the desired interface and, if you wish, we can also take care of the implementation.

The new copyright law is here – how can I, as a TV provider, implement the right to information for performers and contributors?

The right to information is implicitly addressed in the m.a.x. it programme planning system with the help of structured metadata and its linking to publications. We will be happy to advise you, drawing on our experience, on how this can also be implemented easily for your organisation.

“More than the sum of its parts” – programme planning and broadcast scheduling from m.a.x. it

With m.a.x. it programme planning and broadcast scheduling, the view of the big picture offers the added value of the individual modules. It is created through the interaction of the modules – from long-term, strategic planning through to second-by-second rundown planning. As a needs-based, modular system, it standardises and distributes metadata for programme planning, production and playout in such a way that manually intensive workflows are significantly simplified.

Consistently ergonomic user interfaces (GUI) across all modules and data management without media discontinuities make operation and control simple and efficient. Desired information can be retrieved quickly and data entry has no redundancies. Users are supported in their day-to-day work with numerous powerful planning functions.
